Established to nurture young talent in Meghalaya, the SCA Academy provides professional coaching, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a clear pathway to represent the state in BCCI tournaments.

About Us

The Shillong Cricket Association was established in the year 1948. It is the oldest Cricket Association in Meghalaya and has produced many great players for the State. The Shillong Cricket Association is the only Association affiliated with Meghalaya Cricket Association, which conducted many tournament and leagues which comprises of 4 division A & B Super Divisions these leagues the SCA also conducted the Inter Office, Inter School and Women League. Apart from conducting various tournaments and leagues, this year the SCA with a vision to promote young local cricketers, it has decided to open its own Academy in Polo Ground with an aim to spot talent and groom the young lads who will one day represent the State and the country.

The Shillong Cricket Association Academy is equipped with a standard cricket ground and modern practice areas. Shillong Cricket Association Academy ground is one of the best cricket ground with many Practice pitches (Turf and Cemented). Our core strength is our expert coaching team.

The Shillong Cricket Association Academy will always maintained that cricket play a vital role in our growth. It builds competitiveness, team spirit, resilience and rewards our every achievement. It is a matter of immense pride that we are now bringing a Cricket Academy which will guide, mentor, train and provide opportunities to students that have till now been only available for selected few.

It is our hope that this Academy will bring the sport of cricket to a level of professionalism not seen at the grassroot level and help change the cricketing scenario for the betterment of not just for the players but also the game itself. Shillong Cricket Association Academy will, we are sure, be the game changer in Meghalaya Cricket.

Eligibility

Boys: 8 to 18 Years

Girls: 8 to 20 Years

Training Hours

SUMMER: Mon-Fri: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

WINTER: Mon-Fri: 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Saturdays & Holidays: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Academy Fee Structure

Code of Conduct

RULES & REGULATIONS

Training & Conduct

Players must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Strict discipline is required during training and matches.
Proper cricket uniform is mandatory at all times.
Mischief, verbal abuse, racial remarks, or manhandling is strictly prohibited during training, matches, or tours.
Players must follow all instructions from the Coach. The Coach is authorized to suspend players for misbehavior.
No eatables are allowed on the field; players must not spoil the ground in any way.
Parents are strictly not allowed to enter the ground during practice sessions.

Equipment & Valuables

Players must possess a complete kit: Bat, Batting Pads, Thigh Guard, Abdomen Guard, Gloves, and Helmet.
Valuables (ornaments, mobile phones) are not allowed on the field. Management is not responsible for any loss.

Fee Policy & Payments

Monthly fees must be cleared within the **first 10 days** of every month; late payments will attract a fine.
If fees remain unpaid for **two consecutive months**, admission will be automatically cancelled.
Payments can be made via Cash or Online (GooglePay, PhonePe, etc.).
Fees once paid are **non-refundable** and non-transferable.

Membership Terms

Registration does not confirm membership; it is granted only after thorough scrutiny of the application.
Players are expected to show continuous performance improvement.
Management reserves the right to change rules at any time without prior notice.
